Enfoque: A propósito de la ceremonia por los 50 años de la Escuela de Periodismo de la U. de Chile, el medio hace una reseña de dicha escuela y destaca que, a través de una videoconferencia, el Presidente Lagos demostró su molestia por las acusaciones hechas en contra de la Universidad, en el marco del caso MOP Gate. Además, señala que el rector Luis Riveros hizo un llamado a las autoridades a apoyar más la educación pública. Mandatario: "Cuando se ataca a la Universidad, se ataca al espíritu de Chile. Es bueno que la justicia aclare y juzgue todos los ilícitos, pero no podemos tolerar que se usen investigaciones judiciales, como un pretexto apara atacar el proyecto de la Universidad de Chile."
