Mario Adolfo del Carmen Fernández Baeza es un abogado constitucionalista, académico y político chileno, militante del Partido Demócrata Cristiano. Fue ministro de Defensa en el gobierno de Ricardo Lagos 2000 - 2002. Ese año asumió el Ministerio Secretaría General de la Presidencia (2002-2003). Tras su paso por los ministerios fue designado embajador en Alemania.
