Agrega que el Presidente Lagos quiso defender en terreno el nuevo sistema, haciendo un recorrido en uno de los buses, subiéndose en Las Rejas y bajándose en La Moneda. Mandatario: "Es más lento porque no hay carreras de las micros por tener más pasajeros y cortar más boletos. Es más lento porque los buses no pueden andar a más de 60 kms./hr. y es más lento, muy importante, porque el bus no parte mientras no estén cerradas todas las puertas. Bueno, eso forma parte de un país distinto"
